How it works
The solar preheated water enters the gas heater. If you have a temperature greater than what the thermostat was adjusted for, the gas burner does not iniciate, if on the contrary it is lower, it will turn on to reach the desired temperature, using only the gas needed.

How to find the adecuate size?
By the number of simultaneous services. If you require a single shower while on cloudy days, the model is right SCHSG10006.
The consumption of gas: In a normal house 70% of gas consumption is for heating water for showers, laundry and dishwashing sink to 30% on the stove. Check your monthly consumption and saving gas selections you want to have. The savings shown in the table is considering a 20KJ/m2/día solar radiation which is the average for the Mexican republic.
By the need to compare purified water jugs weekly consumption to production equipment, remember to produce a little more than they consume in order to have jugs of cloudy days reserve.
